The firm Atlantis Japan announced to have acquired a 75 percent stake in Prime Time Seafood Inc. from Los Angeles, California, USA.
Atlantis Japan is totally owned by the seafood Atlantis Group and majority owner of Umami Sustainable Seafood Inc., a leading global producer of Northern Bluefin tuna.
Prime Time Seafood Inc. is specialized in the grading and sales fresh tuna. The Los Angeles-based company imports tuna from all over the world for distribution in the U.S. and Canadian market.
With this investment, the Atlantis Group expects to reinforce its seafood marketing operations and open its path towards accessing the U.S. market, according to Oli Vallur Steindorsson, CEO and Co-founder of Atlantis Group.
