Australian Cats Can Now Relish On MSC Tuna Filets

Environmentally conscious pet owners in Australia can feed their cats MSC tuna. Pet food brand Dine, a subsidiary of Mars Petcare, has launched Dine Fillet with Tuna (60 g) which has the blue logo on its label. The product is now available in Coles supermarkets nationwide at AUD 2.30 (USD 1.45). Its Tuna and Whitefish Flakes, Pulled Menu Gravy Indulgence with Tuna, and Saucy Morsels with Tuna Mornay and Cheese also have the MSC blue tick. Besides tuna, Dine offers several chicken, salmon, beef, turkey, and crab products.

A top executive from Mars Petcare Australia said that consumers are increasingly becoming aware of their environmental footprint. She said: “Our partnership with MSC reflects our tradition of offering pet owners a product they can feel good about, knowing it has been sourced with care and responsibility.”
