Infofish Is Setting The Stage For TUNA 2024

Infofish is speeding up preparations for the 18th World Tuna Trade Conference & Exhibition in Bangkok, also called TUNA 2024. The event will be held from May 20 to 22 with the theme ‘Advancing Blue Transformation, Sustainable Development and Innovation through the global tuna industry.’ It is jointly organized by the Thailand Department of Fisheries, Thai Tuna Industry, and three RFMOs (IATTC, IOTC, and WCPFC). Atuna has been the supporting media partner of the conference for the past few years and will continue to do so. The organizers are collaborating with the UN’s FAO and Spanish canning association Anfaco.

Over 500 participants from 35 countries are expected to participate in TUNA 2024 that will be held at Shangri-La Hotel. Forty-one booths will be set up for companies and organizations to display their tuna and other seafood products, equipment, and machinery. The Infofish website has stated that there will be 43 speakers from the tuna industry, but are yet to reveal their names. Registrations for TUNA 2024 have been open from the beginning of this year.
