Robinson Crusoe Tuna Cans Get Makeover

15 August 2024

Robinson Crusoe has revamped its canned tuna design. The brand, owned by Spanish group Jealsa, posted on social media sites the new colorful blue, green, yellow, and orange lithographed cans depicting pole-and-line fishing from which it sources its tuna. “We ensure that the tuna we use is fished with a conscience in order not to harm the environment and also respects marine life and ecosystems,” read Robinson Crusoe’s Facebook post.

Advertising company, Dalmata, who was in charge of the project, has also given a fresh new logo in a sleek font. Robinson Crusoe has not revealed whether the products have already hit retail shelves but asserted the cans will be promoted at all points of sale. The redesigning was done for sardines as well. Robinson Crusoe is among the top canned tuna brands in Brazil. It is also sold in Chili and Guatemala.
