Thai Union North America CEO Steps Down

Thai Union announced that Bryan Rosenberg has stepped down as the CEO of Thai Union North America, effective from January 1, 2025. Rosenberg has been spearheading Chicken of the Sea International (COSI) since 2020 when he assumed the role that year. He will remain Executive Director and Founder of the North America unit.

Rosenberg has played a crucial role in the growth of the Thai Union. He co-founded Chicken of the Sea Frozen Foods (COSFF) in 2006. Thai Union said in a statement that under Rosenberg’s leadership, COSFF grew to be the top importer of shrimp and crab meat in the US. Daniel Halford, COSFF’s Senior Vice President of Operations, has been appointed as Thai Union’s North American region’s new President. Rosenberg explained: “It has been our intent for some time to transition the leadership in North America. I remain fully committed to the long-term success of the business and have complete confidence in Andy, Daniel, and their respective leadership teams to drive the next phase of each company’s growth.”
