Tuna Potstickers In Race For Best Product At Seafood Expo Asia

Seafood Expo Asia is all set to kick-start next month and eight finalists have been selected for the ‘best new seafood product’ competition. Among the nominees is one tuna product: Tuna Potstickers of Taiwan-based Tuna House Trading Co. Ltd. The company distributes and exports several tuna products such as frozen skipjack, albacore, bigeye, and yellowfin, and handles bluefin as well. The judging for the award will be done at the event by a panel of industry experts from the retail and food service industries across Asia. Potstickers are sometimes called Chinese dumplings and traditionally have pork and cabbage fillings.

Seafood Expo Asia, to be held from September 4 to 6 in Singapore, will bring together buyers and suppliers of tuna and other seafood from across the world to network and conduct business in Asia. SolTuna, FFA, PNG National Fisheries Authority, and VASEP, are among the hundreds of exhibitors. The event is organized by Diversified Communications.
